Delete Your TripNoti Account

This page explains how to request account deletion, what data will be deleted, what data may be retained for legal reasons, and expected processing timelines.

Preferred method: TripNoti app > Settings > Delete Account. Email fallback: support@tripnoti.com (subject: Delete My Account).

How to Request Deletion

  1. Open the TripNoti app and go to Settings > Delete Account.
  2. Review the deletion notice and tap Submit Request.
  3. TripNoti will submit your deletion request, clear your notification token, stop active tracking, and sign you out.
  4. If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@tripnoti.com using the email tied to your TripNoti account with the subject line: Delete My Account.
  5. If we cannot verify ownership from the app session or sender address, we may request additional verification.

Once verified, we process account deletion and data removal according to the retention rules below.

Data Deleted

Profile details (name, email, avatar) Deleted with account closure.
Tracked routes and watchlist records Deleted with account closure.
Booking history and referral records tied to your account Deleted or anonymized with account closure unless limited retention is required for legal, fraud prevention, support, or payment reconciliation reasons.
Notification tokens (FCM) Removed immediately during deletion flow or sign-out cleanup.
In-app notification read status Deleted with account closure.
In-app settings tied to account Deleted with account closure.

Data Retained (If Required)

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by law, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or payment reconciliation.

We do not retain payment card numbers. Billing is handled by Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat.

Processing Timeline

Subscription Note

Deleting your TripNoti account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions. You must cancel active subscriptions in Google Play or the Apple App Store to avoid renewal charges.
